The Assessment & Data Coordinator for special education is responsible for ensuring that students with special needs receive the necessary support and services to meet their individualized educational goals. Their duties include administering assessments, developing data systems, collaborating with teachers and parents, analyzing data, providing training and support, monitoring compliance, reporting data, and serving as a resource. This role requires a thorough understanding of special education laws and regulations and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.

Another important aspect of this role is collaboration with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop appropriate educational goals for students with special needs. The Assessment & Data Coordinator analyzes data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the special education program, and provides professional development and training to teachers and support staff on best practices in assessment and data management.

Additionally, the Assessment & Data Coordinator assists in the development of policies and procedures related to the assessment and data management processes in the special education program. They are also responsible for monitoring compliance with special education laws and regulations, and reporting data to school administration and government agencies.

The Assessment & Data Coordinator serves as a resource to teachers and parents on special education-related matters.
